LETHBRIDGE, Alta. – After night one in Lethbridge, we had a ton of great action, a lot of great bull rides. We saw a lot of guys stay on, setting themselves up for a solid weekend.
Night number two looks to be no different. Lots of great matchups. The guys got to draft their bulls, so they got to pick the ones that they wanted to get on which always leads to a great night and great scores.

A couple stand outs, Weston Davidson on a rematch, Tanner Eno has a rematch, so those should be some good rides. Cauy Schmidt has a bull called Chasing Shadows that really bucked last night, so look for that to be a really great match up.

Coy Robbins vs. Ranahan
This is a black and white bull, should be right in the gate to the right, into Coy’s hand. Coy made a good ride last night, look for the same thing tonight. He should fit Coy’s style perfectly, and 85-86-point score to get two down and have a good pick in the championship round to try and win this thing.
Dakota Buttar vs. High Voltage
Another rematch, Dakota Buttar has rode this bull before. This bull has a couple different trips. We saw him with Nick Tetz a few weekends ago in Red Deer and he was in the gate to the left, blowing and spinning. Buttar knows everything about this bull no matter what he does. He's going to sit up there and ride him. Dakota did it last night, and he did it in Red Deer. Dakota is on a mission this year. Look for a round win here, could be 87-88 points to come back really strong and try to be the champion of Lethbridge as well.
Jake Gardner vs. Broken Pearl
Another rematch. When the guys get to pick their bulls, they usually pick ones that fit their style and this is the exact one that Jake would want in in this draft. Broken Pearl is a red and white bull, been around, we’ve all seen him, he’s been in the championship rounds. Garrett Green rode him in Red Deer the other weekend. He should be right in the gate to the right, spinning, moving. Look for Jake to open up with that outside foot, get flashy, get a good score here, 86-87 points.
Nick Tetz vs. Sin Wagon
Nick Tetz was on fire last night. Rode one, got a re-ride. Took that re-ride knowing that he could up his score and it worked out great for him. Eighty-five points last night, he made one of the better rides of the round on one of the tougher bulls around and that's exactly what he's got here. He stepped up to the plate, picked what I thought was the best bull out last night, bucked off Cody Coverchuk. Really good bull, and the only guy that has been able to get past him so far was John Crimber in Saskatoon. Nick knows that, he wants to go for the round win. The bull should be right in the gate to the left. Has a lot of action, blowing, moving. Not the easiest one by any means, but one you can get the highest score on. Nick was riding really strong last night and look for him to do the same thing here, another round win, could be 88 points.
Lonnie West vs. Pay Day
Great to see Lonnie West back in action. The wily veteran looks strong, looks fit, looks like he's healthy again, and a healthy Lonnie West is one that all the guys should be looking over the shoulder at. He made a really great ride last night on a Skori Bull, into his hand. Bull had him in and out, and he didn't quit, kept moving, kept riding and made a phenomenal ride. Same thing tonight. Pay Days is going to be out a couple, around to the left. We’ve seen Dakota Buttar have success on this bull. Look for Lonnie to do the same. Blowing and popping into his hand. Look for and 85-87-point ride here for Lonnie to set himself up great for the championship round and set his PBR Canada season up the way he wants to in the running for the Canadian Championship.
