The Morning Line – Kingston Round 1

KINGSTON, Ont. – Kingston, Ontario, is the second stop of the Eastern tour for the PBR Canada Cup Series events.

Looks to be just as good as the first one in London. The crowd was firing, and the boys came to ride, we saw some great bull rides. And I think we’re going to see the same thing here in Kingston.

The first day there are a lot of bulls that I am not very familiar with, they come from the province of Ontario, so I think we should have lots of rides, but just not too sure on a lot of the bulls since we’ll be seeing them for the first time.

Callum Miller vs. Power Play

This bull came from Alberta, from Nansen Vold, I have seen him a bunch. Should be out to the left, follow the gate around to the right. Spin into Callum’s hand. Callum will look to keep the momentum going from last weekend in London where he smashed out an 88-point ride on a bull that spun into his hand, and also had to make a really good ride in the long round on a bull that was really out of line. This bull will be kind of similar to that, moving ahead, but Callum should have no problem being 85-86 points.

Brock Radford vs. Clear The Village

Another bull that we have seen a lot of in Alberta, and now makes his home out East. A big white bull that will definitely clear the village once the rider comes off. He’s got all sorts of hotness and meanness, but last weekend when we saw him in London, he looks like he’s a perfect match for Brock. Should be right in the gate to the left. Brock has been on this bull before in Alberta, was 86 on him that time. Look for the same thing here. Look for Brock to get the momentum rolling and try to get his first win on the Cup Series and try to get his season on track in Kingston. An 86-87-point ride.

Boudreaux Campbell vs. Red Pearl

We saw this bull last weekend in London. He followed the gate around to the right, kind of just spun a hole in the ground, bucked the kid off. But don’t look for that to happen to Boudreaux. This bull will go either way, but he should follow the gate around to the right, spin away from Boudreaux’s hand. Boudreaux should ride him from an 85-86-point score to set himself up good to try and win his first Canada Cup Series event.

Stefan Tonita vs. Pure Feeling

This is a bull that also came from Nansen Vold, and we’ve seen a lot of over in Alberta. Last weekend we was out to the right, followed the gate around to the left. Kind of shoots out there a little bit, has a tendency to get guys rocked back and shoot them out the back door. But the way Stefan rides, this bull should fit him really well. Stays out over him, styles him out away from his hand. Also this bull has a lot of action once the guys hit the ground. He means business, and likes to play rodeo, and that’s where us bullfighters will come into play. But look for an 84-86-point ride for Stefan Tonita.

Cody Coverchuk vs. Red Carpet

Cody Coverchuk coming off another event win last weekend in London. I said it then, and I will say it again, he is riding better than I think we have ever seen Coverchuk ride. He’s got momentum on his side. I don’t know who this bull is, but it doesn’t really matter to Coverchuk right now. Whatever he gets on, whether they spin to the right or the left, he’s riding them right down the middle and doing what it takes to win. Look for that same situation here for Coverchuk to keep the momentum rolling into Kingston and stay in that No. 1 spot in Canada.
